Community Foundation for Bendigo and Central Victoria is an independent philanthropic organisation focusing on the local government areas of Mt Alexander, Central Goldfields, Loddon Campaspe and City of Greater Bendigo
Generally the CFBCV attracts donations into either the Open Fund or Trust Fund with the intention of building a capital base known as a corpus which is invested in perpetuity. Earned income from the investments are returned to the LOCAL community annually via annual grants to eligible charities or organisations that are charitable in nature and have a clear social benefit.
